Q. What is your return policy?

A. Please note that all sales are final. I stand behind the quality of my work, and any defects resulting from craftsmanship will be corrected at no cost to you. If you have a repair need due to wear, accidental damage or breaks to metal or stone I am happy to work with you and discuss work that needs to be done and associated cost. I'm will work with you to evaluate what needs to be done and provide a clear estimate for any necessary repairs.

Q. What is a lapidary?

A. A lapidary is a person who cuts, shapes and polishes stones, especially gemstones, for use in jewelry or decorative items.

Q. What sets your work apart from others?

A. This is something I think about on the daily! Welp, I am lucky to be able to cut and polish my own stones. This allows me so many artistic outlets as well as being able to customize stones specifically to the way that I like to work my metal. As a lapidary and metalsmith, I create each piece from the ground up—literally. Every stone is hand-selected, cut and polished by me, bringing out its natural character and beauty. From there, I design and fabricate custom metal settings that are made to fit the stone.

This full-circle approach means every element is intentional. I don’t use mass-produced settings or outsourced work. Instead, I bring years of experience and craftsmanship to every step, ensuring each piece is strong, beautiful and truly one-of-a-kind.

NATURE IS COOL! Jewelry is personal and should feel meaningful and should last. All my pieces are a collaboration between nature, craft, and the person who wears it.

Q. How do you come up with ideas?

A. I am an intuitive artist. I work off of the feeling that I get from the materials with which I'm working. Most of my pieces start with one of my rocks calling out to me, asking to be cut. I work best without an end design in sight, which is why I don't do many customs. As I am cutting and polishing the rocks, I start to get an idea of what the end result could look like. Sometimes I go straight from the polishing wheels to my metal station, and sometimes the finished rocks will sit on my bench for ages before I decide what to do with them! I don't cut many cabs to sell but the ones that I decide to sell are not because of any flaws. They simply asked to be cut and have a purpose to be finished by someone else, and I am happy to oblige.
